Fundraising Breakfast for Flood Relief Support

Our heartfelt thoughts continue to go out to everyone that has been affected by these devastating floods in the northern rivers region. After seeing areas first hand and watching posts of affected areas words cannot express what people are going through but the resilience and positivity in so many just shows the strength of the community we are part of.

With the support people are receiving out in the areas through clean-ups, the donations that are continuously streaming in or to people just being there to talk, there is no doubt we will remain strong. It’s a massive thank you to everyone who has been involved.

To continue the community assistance the Ballina Soccer Club will be holding a Fundraising Breakfast on Saturday 19th March and Sunday 20th March from 8.30am until 12pm each day at Bondies at the Bay in Norton Street, Ballina.

We will be selling both bacon and egg and sausage sandwiches together with cold drinks with all proceeds to go to a designated flood relief fund.

Full details will be posted over the weekend but with many of our club members affected let’s all get behind the event and raise as much as possible. We are aiming to set a target of between $4000-5000 so please share to as many as possible and we can all make this happen.

Further to the recent FFNC correspondence the club will continue to keep everyone updated with details of the season ahead but the priority right now is for the well-being of all those affected.
