G11 Ospreys A hard fought 3 all draw for G11 Ospreys against A'ville Kookaburras this week. It was great to see the team starting to form as there are a lot of new members this year and they are just getting to know each other. From the sidelines you could see the improvement in passing and teamwork. Special mentions go to last week's player of the match Taj Brown and this week's winners Mitchell Roy and Dennis Turner. Also congratulations to our goalies Anthony and Michael who were willing to have a go and quite literally saved the day. G16 Seahorses The 16s boys played a strong Byron side at home on Saturday. Despite trying hard and some good chasing and pressure up front by Nathan, Byron were too strong winning 6 - 1. Zane was our goal scorer. At Alstonville on Sunday the team fought well in a tight struggle going down in the end 1 - 0. George, Zaiden and 16s Kye were stand outs with everyone putting in a huge effort. A big thank you to 15s Dylan and Kye who filled in for us. It's pleasing to see the effort being put in. More work is needed on our first touch and choosing the best options. G7 Dolphins
We had another good exciting fun game last Saturday at our home fields.
Whilst there was not many goals from our mighty Dolphin team, there were 5 little people trying their best.
Some good defence and Caiden was our weekly “ Person” of the match. I hope he enjoys the voucher kindly donated by Club President Mr Gary Bond of “ Bondies “ Café in Norton Street. Congrats Caiden.
