Ballina Soccer Club premier division has commenced training at Saunders Oval (Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 6pm). In his third year at the club, coach – Chris Layland, is looking to reinforce the success he achieved in the last two seasons. New players are welcome to come and show their talents and enjoy being part of a vibrant team and club atmosphere. Newly appointed reserves coach and local identity, Peter Lang, is looking forward to sharing his vast experience with anyone who is prepared to have a dig and try out for the reserves outfit.
The Ballina Seahorses have fixed their sights on none other than 2015 silverware. The goals are set, so come and join the challenge. There are opportunities for new players to join the squad and with the departure of club stalwart and midfield maestro, Justin Stockham, and the transfer of stylish striker, Matt Jeffery to semi-professional status in Adelaide – opportunity knocks! Matt’s elevation is an insight into what you can achieve from being exposed to the Ballina team culture!
The pre-season schedule is already established with a NSW regional knock out comp, and the traditional and emotively inspiring FFNC Anzac Cup comp, (both scheduled to start in the next few weeks).
So, don’t sit on the lounge basking on the genius of Cahill and his Aussie counterparts, get your boots on & get to training! Ballina Soccer Club welcomes you!
